Robert L. Samuel Joins Pender & Coward

Va. Beach, Va. - Pender & Coward is pleased to announce the addition of Robert L. Samuel as a shareholder and chairman of the firm’s Workers’ Compensation Group. With more than 35 years experience, he also focuses his practice on Civil Personal Injury Litigation.

Samuel is AV-Rated (“Preeminent”) by Martindale-Hubbell and recognized for his work in personal injury defense by The Best Lawyers in America and Super Lawyers. He earned his Bachelor of Arts from Hampden-Sydney College and his Juris Doctor from the University of Richmond. He is a past president of the Virginia Beach Bar Association and recipient of its Professionalism Award in 2011. He has also served as chairman of the Chesapeake Redevelopment and Housing Authority since 1998.
