Matthew Hull Elected Pender & Coward Shareholder
Virginia Beach, Va. – Pender & Coward is pleased to announce that Matthew Hull has been elected a shareholder of the firm.
Matt focuses his practice in the areas of eminent domain, right of way, and uniform relocation act matters, local government, and waterfront property law. He regularly represents condemning authorities in eminent domain cases and inverse condemnation claims, and he defends governmental clients against personal injury suits and challenges to administrative agency decisions. Matt counsels business clients in land disputes and contract actions. Prior to entering private practice, Matt worked in the Office of the Attorney General of Virginia where he represented the Virginia Marine Resources Commission on matters affecting waterfront property owners and other users of state marine resources.
In the community Matt serves on the board of directors of the Portsmouth Division of the Hampton Roads Chamber of Commerce and the Tidewater Chapter of Virginia Center for Inclusive Communities. He is also a member of the International Right of Way Association.
