Mark Baumgartner Selected as Virginia CFO of the Year

Virginia Beach, Va. – Pender & Coward is pleased to announce that attorney and CFO Mark Baumgartner has been selected as Virginia Small Business CFO of the Year by Virginia Business magazine.  Out of 34 CFOs nominated by their peers, Virginia Business magazine editorial staff and a group of previous CFO award recipients selected one outstanding chief financial officer award winner in four business categories, small business, small nonprofit, large business and large nonprofit. 

A business attorney and shareholder of the firm, Mark has served as CFO for the last four years in addition to leading a successful IT campaign to advance the firm’s technology and maintaining a busy law practice helping clients with their business and personal legal matters.
