Brent R. Haden Joins Pender & Coward

Virginia Beach, Va. – Pender & Coward is pleased to welcome attorney Brent R. Haden to the firm’s Business & Commercial Transactions section, where he practices corporate, general business and commercial law.
Haden earned his Juris Doctor from the Marshall-Wythe School of Law at the College of William and Mary in 1997 and received his Bachelor’s of Arts in Foreign Affairs from the University of Virginia in 1994.
He is involved in various civic and professional organizations, including the Norfolk-Portsmouth Bar Association and the United Way, currently serving as Chair of the Financial Stability Panel and as a member of the Community Funding Committee. He also serves on the University of Virginia Jefferson Scholarship Regional Selection Committee for South Hampton Roads. He is a past board member of the UVA Club of Tidewater and the Cedar Point Owners Association. Additionally, Haden has been a guest lecturer to MBA students at Old Dominion University on the topic of Choice of Legal Entity.
Haden is admitted to practice in Virginia and before the Supreme Court of Virginia and the United States District Court, Eastern District of Virginia.
